Summer is here and we are at the end of "bloom". Grape blooms are visually as unexciting as they get but it is critical that no rain or fierce winds damage these micro blossoms. Our weather has been great and the bees are busily pollinating our vineyard with the promise of an unbelievable harvest come fall.
Our 2010 Alexander Valley Rosé of Syrah is released!!
It began on October 16th when we harvesting the first of our Syrah to make our first Rosé wine and now it is in bottle ready to be shipped for your enjoyment.. We used a protocol from Provençe fermenting with natural yeast, and the color and flavors are exquisite.

We have expanded our philanthropy this year and are fully committed to assisting non-profits with programs that assist the severely disabled, the abused, and foster the fullest development of children and youth. In 2010, we provided all the wine for gala dinners and events that raised operating funds for STAND against domestic violence, Giant Steps of Petaluma equestrian program for the severely disabled, and the Junior League of Napa-Sonoma's programs for women and children of Napa and Sonoma. In 2011, we will be sponsoring the Giant Steps of Petaluma equestrian program again. Please email us if there is a program that you think we should sponsor wine for.
