Trois Voyelles Wines
2007 has treated Trois Voyelles well. Although we did not have the rain 2006 provided, the growing season was fabulous with no late spring frosts, consistently warm days and cool nights throughout the summer, and rain that held off until all our grapes were harvested. Our wines continue to get raves and are available in many Bay Area restaurants and stores as well as directly from us.
We hosted our second Alexander Valley 'Taste of the Valley, our appellation's wine extravaganza the first weekend of June at the Alexander Valley Hall this year with a James Bond 007 theme and Trois Voyelles wines were served in our 'From Russia with Love' Turkish Bazaar. Once again, seven of Alexander Valley's smallest wineries banded together as the Outlaw 7 and poured wine at the Alexander Valley Hall on June 2nd and 3rd as a benefit for the California Human Development Corporation's Vineyard Worker Housing program. We are in the planning mode for Taste of the Valley 2008 which will be on June 5th and 6th. Watch our website for details on the venue and join us. Plus, this year, we will finally be hosting a barrel tasting and futures party in March to sample our 2006 reds before bottling. Please plan on joining us for a fun afternoon of food and wine.
We are just releasing our new wines including the 2006 Russian River Sauvignon Blanc, 2005 Alexander Valley Syrah, 2005 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, plus our latest offerings 2005 Alexander Valley Merlot and 2006 Late Harvest Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc.
